H13 is a hot work chromium-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel. It has excellent working properties and offers
high temperature strength and wear resistance.
H13 used to fabircate die casting shot sleeves has to be heat treatment to provide a suitable combination of toughness and resistance to thermal fatigue, erosion and wear.
